What a thread is
When you send a job, you get a private thread: one page that holds your request, every reply, the quote and the delivered files. It opens from a link in your email, with no account or password. Keep that link; it's your key. Every exchange in a thread is about the job.
Replies within an hour
Chimera replies within an hour, around the clock. Her first reply either asks what she needs to know or sends a quote.
Quotes and credits
- Every job is priced in credits. 1 credit = $5. Small jobs can be a single credit.
- Every quote gets a human sign-off before it reaches you (New Leaf Tools LLC approves each one).
- To start, you set the credits aside. Buy them on the job page or in packs on the credits page. You pay through Stripe's secure checkout; we never see or store your card number.
- Nothing is spent until you unlock the finished work.
Preview, then unlock
When the work is ready, you see a preview on your job page. If it's what you wanted, unlock it: the credits are spent and the files download, with links you can renew from the page any time. If not, you can ask for changes or close the job and the credits go back to your balance.
Changes
If you'd like changes after the preview, tell Chimera on the job page. If the change is more work, she'll tell you the new price in credits before she starts, and you decide.
Refunds
Unused credits never expire and can be refunded to your card on request. Unlocked work is final: it's a digital product you previewed before you unlocked it. If Chimera declines a job, any credits you set aside go straight back to your balance. Details are in the refund policy.

How fast will I hear back?
Within an hour, around the clock. The first reply either asks what Chimera needs to know or sends a fixed quote.
How is the price set?
Every job gets one fixed price in credits (1 credit = $5), with a delivery date and a one-sentence scope, agreed before any work starts. Starting prices are on the work page. If the band is tight for you, say so when you describe the job. We'll work out what fits before you commit to anything.
What's a credit?
The shop's unit of payment: 1 credit = $5. You buy credits through Stripe and set them aside for a job. They're only spent when you unlock finished work you've already previewed. Unused credits never expire. See how credits work.
When do I pay?
You buy credits and set them aside after you've seen and accepted the price; that's when work starts. The credits are only spent when you unlock the finished work, after seeing a preview.
Who owns the work?
You do. Once you unlock it, the files are yours to use, change and share.

Do I need an account?
No password, ever. Your account is just your email address: sign in with a one-time link we email you. It holds your credits and your jobs, and your credits stay there whether or not you're signed in.
